There are always going to be things that we'd have done differently if we knew then what we know now. These are some things I’ve learnt that I wish I knew when I first started dating.
Approach your crush quickly It is easy to just day dream about someone. Or waste time obsessing and overthinking what you could say. But you might miss your chance. If you like someone, just talk to them! Or send them a text if you’re super shy. Start with a simple, “Hi, how are you doing?” and who know where it could end.
Most often guys are just looking to score! Don't promise her a relationship or tell her "she's the one" if you just want to hook up. But if you are serious, tell her that too! If you aren’t on the same page, someone’s going to get hurt.
Getting a no, or breaking up is not the end of the world
It may feel like you're going to die but you're not. Every person you go out with, every person you break up with and every girl who turns you down is a learning experience. And there will be another girl after this one!
Not every girl you meet is "the one"
It takes more than a two second glance to meet "the one". Just because you're attracted to her doesn't mean she's right for you.
Build your confidence and know that a ‘no’ does not mean that you’re ‘no good’.
